Julian Pedraza is an artist and video maker. His works draw inspiration from political, religious, popular and commercial landscapes, in an attempt to give his own expressive take on contemporary issues.
He holds a Master’s degree in Arts and studied Sound and Video Making at the National University of Colombia and has a Postgraduate Degree in Audiovisual Editing from Universitat Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona.
His paintings, collages, videos and performances have been shown since 1999 in Colombia, Italy, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Cuba, Russia, among other countries.
His short film “Where is my body?” was shown at the 2020 edition of the Rotterdam Film Festival.
He currently lives and works in Barcelona.
